Healing the Lame Beggar

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer--at three in the afternoon.1Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.1Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the ninth hour, the hour of prayer.1Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.1Now Peter and John were going up together to the temple complex at the hour of prayer at three in the afternoon.
Now a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts.2And a man lame from birth was being carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple that is called the Beautiful Gate to ask alms of those entering the temple.2And a man who had been lame from his mother's womb was being carried along, whom they used to set down every day at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, in order to beg alms of those who were entering the temple.2And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;2And a man who was lame from birth was carried there and placed every day at the temple gate called Beautiful, so he could beg from those entering the temple complex.
When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money.3Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked to receive alms.3When he saw Peter and John about to go into the temple, he began asking to receive alms.3Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.3When he saw Peter and John about to enter the temple complex, he asked for help.
Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, "Look at us!"4And Peter directed his gaze at him, as did John, and said, “Look at us.”4But Peter, along with John, fixed his gaze on him and said, "Look at us!"4And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.4Peter, along with John, looked at him intently and said, "Look at us."

So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.5And he fixed his attention on them, expecting to receive something from them.5And he began to give them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.5And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.5So he turned to them, expecting to get something from them.
Then Peter said, "Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk."6But Peter said, “I have no silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!”6But Peter said, "I do not possess silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene-- walk!"6Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.6But Peter said, "I don't have silver or gold, but what I have, I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, get up and walk!"
Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man's feet and ankles became strong.7And he took him by the right hand and raised him up, and immediately his feet and ankles were made strong.7And seizing him by the right hand, he raised him up; and immediately his feet and his ankles were strengthened.7And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ancle bones received strength.7Then, taking him by the right hand he raised him up, and at once his feet and ankles became strong.
He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God.8And leaping up, he stood and began to walk, and entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God.8With a leap he stood upright and began to walk; and he entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God.8And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.8So he jumped up, stood, and started to walk, and he entered the temple complex with them--walking, leaping, and praising God.
When all the people saw him walking and praising God,9And all the people saw him walking and praising God,9And all the people saw him walking and praising God;9And all the people saw him walking and praising God:9All the people saw him walking and praising God,
they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.10and recognized him as the one who sat at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, asking for alms. And they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.10and they were taking note of him as being the one who used to sit at the Beautiful Gate of the temple to beg alms, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.10And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.10and they recognized that he was the one who used to sit and beg at the Beautiful Gate of the temple complex. So they were filled with awe and astonishment at what had happened to him.

Peter Speaks in Solomon's Colonnade

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
While the man held on to Peter and John, all the people were astonished and came running to them in the place called Solomon's Colonnade.11While he clung to Peter and John, all the people, utterly astounded, ran together to them in the portico called Solomon’s.11While he was clinging to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them at the so-called portico of Solomon, full of amazement.11And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.11While he was holding on to Peter and John, all the people, greatly amazed, ran toward them in what is called Solomon's Colonnade.
When Peter saw this, he said to them: "Fellow Israelites, why does this surprise you? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?12And when Peter saw it he addressed the people: “Men of Israel, why do you wonder at this, or why do you stare at us, as though by our own power or piety we have made him walk?12But when Peter saw this, he replied to the people, "Men of Israel, why are you amazed at this, or why do you gaze at us, as if by our own power or piety we had made him walk?12And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?12When Peter saw this, he addressed the people: "Men of Israel, why are you amazed at this? Or why do you stare at us, as though we had made him walk by our own power or godliness?
The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus. You handed him over to be killed, and you disowned him before Pilate, though he had decided to let him go.13The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified his servant Jesus, whom you delivered over and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had decided to release him.13"The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified His servant Jesus, the one whom you delivered and disowned in the presence of Pilate, when he had decided to release Him.13The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.13The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified His Servant Jesus, whom you handed over and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had decided to release Him.
You disowned the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a murderer be released to you.14But you denied the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you,14"But you disowned the Holy and Righteous One and asked for a murderer to be granted to you,14But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;14But you denied the Holy and Righteous One and asked to have a murderer given to you.

You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this.15and you killed the Author of life, whom God raised from the dead. To this we are witnesses.15but put to death the Prince of life, the one whom God raised from the dead, a fact to which we are witnesses.15And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.15You killed the source of life, whom God raised from the dead; we are witnesses of this.
By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus' name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see.16And his name—by faith in his name—has made this man strong whom you see and know, and the faith that is through Jesus has given the man this perfect health in the presence of you all.16"And on the basis of faith in His name, it is the name of Jesus which has strengthened this man whom you see and know; and the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect health in the presence of you all.16And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.16By faith in His name, His name has made this man strong, whom you see and know. So the faith that comes through Him has given him this perfect health in front of all of you."
"Now, fellow Israelites, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did your leaders.17“And now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did also your rulers.17"And now, brethren, I know that you acted in ignorance, just as your rulers did also.17And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.17And now, brothers, I know that you did it in ignorance, just as your leaders also did.
But this is how God fulfilled what he had foretold through all the prophets, saying that his Messiah would suffer.18But what God foretold by the mouth of all the prophets, that his Christ would suffer, he thus fulfilled.18"But the things which God announced beforehand by the mouth of all the prophets, that His Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled.18But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.18But what God predicted through the mouth of all the prophets--that His Messiah would suffer--He has fulfilled in this way.
Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,19Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out,19"Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;19Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;19Therefore repent and turn back, so that your sins may be wiped out, that seasons of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,
NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
and that he may send the Messiah, who has been appointed for you--even Jesus.20that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus,20and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you,20And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:20and that He may send Jesus, who has been appointed for you as the Messiah.
Heaven must receive him until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets.21whom heaven must receive until the time for restoring all the things about which God spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets long ago.21whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time.21Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.21Heaven must welcome Him until the times of the restoration of all things, which God spoke about by the mouth of His holy prophets from the beginning.
For Moses said, 'The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own people; you must listen to everything he tells you.22Moses said, ‘The Lord God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your brothers. You shall listen to him in whatever he tells you.22"Moses said, 'THE LORD GOD WILL RAISE UP FOR YOU A PROPHET LIKE ME FROM YOUR BRETHREN; TO HIM YOU SHALL GIVE HEED to everything He says to you.22For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.22Moses said: The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from among your brothers. You must listen to Him in everything He will say to you.
Anyone who does not listen to him will be completely cut off from their people.'23And it shall be that every soul who does not listen to that prophet shall be destroyed from the people.’23'And it will be that every soul that does not heed that prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.'23And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.23And everyone who will not listen to that Prophet will be completely cut off from the people."
"Indeed, beginning with Samuel, all the prophets who have spoken have foretold these days.24And all the prophets who have spoken, from Samuel and those who came after him, also proclaimed these days.24"And likewise, all the prophets who have spoken, from Samuel and his successors onward, also announced these days.24Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.24In addition, all the prophets who have spoken, from Samuel and those after him, have also announced these days.
NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
And you are heirs of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers. He said to Abraham, 'Through your offspring all peoples on earth will be blessed.'25You are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant that God made with your fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘And in your offspring shall all the families of the earth be blessed.’25"It is you who are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant which God made with your fathers, saying to Abraham, 'AND IN YOUR SEED ALL THE FAMILIES OF THE EARTH SHALL BE BLESSED.'25Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.25You are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant that God made with your ancestors, saying to Abraham, And all the families of the earth will be blessed through your offspring.
When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways."26God, having raised up his servant, sent him to you first, to bless you by turning every one of you from your wickedness.”26"For you first, God raised up His Servant and sent Him to bless you by turning every one of you from your wicked ways."26Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.26God raised up His Servant and sent Him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your evil ways."
