NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
Hear this word, people of Israel, the word the LORD has spoken against you--against the whole family I brought up out of Egypt:1Hear this word that the LORD has spoken against you, O people of Israel, against the whole family that I brought up out of the land of Egypt:1Hear this word which the LORD has spoken against you, sons of Israel, against the entire family which He brought up from the land of Egypt:1Hear this word that the LORD hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying,1Listen to this message that the LORD has spoken against you, Israelites, against the entire clan that I brought from the land of Egypt:
"You only have I chosen of all the families of the earth; therefore I will punish you for all your sins."2“You only have I known of all the families of the earth; therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.2"You only have I chosen among all the families of the earth; Therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities."2You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.2I have known only you out of all the clans of the earth; therefore, I will punish you for all your iniquities.
Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?3“Do two walk together, unless they have agreed to meet?3Do two men walk together unless they have made an appointment?3Can two walk together, except they be agreed?3Can two walk together without agreeing to meet?
Does a lion roar in the thicket when it has no prey? Does it growl in its den when it has caught nothing?4Does a lion roar in the forest, when he has no prey? Does a young lion cry out from his den, if he has taken nothing?4Does a lion roar in the forest when he has no prey? Does a young lion growl from his den unless he has captured something?4Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing?4Does a lion roar in the forest when it has no prey? Does a young lion growl from its lair unless it has captured something?

Does a bird swoop down to a trap on the ground when no bait is there? Does a trap spring up from the ground if it has not caught anything?5Does a bird fall in a snare on the earth, when there is no trap for it? Does a snare spring up from the ground, when it has taken nothing?5Does a bird fall into a trap on the ground when there is no bait in it? Does a trap spring up from the earth when it captures nothing at all?5Can a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where no gin is for him? shall one take up a snare from the earth, and have taken nothing at all?5Does a bird land in a trap on the ground if there is no bait for it? Does a trap spring from the ground when it has caught nothing?
When a trumpet sounds in a city, do not the people tremble? When disaster comes to a city, has not the LORD caused it?6Is a trumpet blown in a city, and the people are not afraid? Does disaster come to a city, unless the LORD has done it?6If a trumpet is blown in a city will not the people tremble? If a calamity occurs in a city has not the LORD done it?6Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?6If a ram's horn is blown in a city, aren't people afraid? If a disaster occurs in a city, hasn't the LORD done it?
Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.7“For the Lord GOD does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets.7Surely the Lord GOD does nothing Unless He reveals His secret counsel To His servants the prophets.7Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.7Indeed, the Lord GOD does nothing without revealing His counsel to His servants the prophets.
The lion has roared-- who will not fear? The Sovereign LORD has spoken-- who can but prophesy?8The lion has roared; who will not fear? The Lord GOD has spoken; who can but prophesy?”8A lion has roared! Who will not fear? The Lord GOD has spoken! Who can but prophesy?8The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?8A lion has roared; who will not fear? The Lord GOD has spoken; who will not prophesy?

"They do not know how to do right," declares the LORD, "who store up in their fortresses what they have plundered and looted."10“They do not know how to do right,” declares the LORD, “those who store up violence and robbery in their strongholds.”10"But they do not know how to do what is right," declares the LORD, "these who hoard up violence and devastation in their citadels."10For they know not to do right, saith the LORD, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.10The people are incapable of doing right-- this is the LORD's declaration-- those who store up violence and destruction in their citadels.
Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: "An enemy will overrun your land, pull down your strongholds and plunder your fortresses."11Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: “An adversary shall surround the land and bring down your defenses from you, and your strongholds shall be plundered.”11Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD, "An enemy, even one surrounding the land, Will pull down your strength from you And your citadels will be looted."11Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; An adversary there shall be even round about the land; and he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be spoiled.11Therefore, the Lord GOD says: An enemy will surround the land; he will destroy your strongholds and plunder your citadels.
This is what the LORD says: "As a shepherd rescues from the lion's mouth only two leg bones or a piece of an ear, so will the Israelites living in Samaria be rescued, with only the head of a bed and a piece of fabric from a couch."12Thus says the LORD: “As the shepherd rescues from the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear, so shall the people of Israel who dwell in Samaria be rescued, with the corner of a couch and part of a bed.12Thus says the LORD, "Just as the shepherd snatches from the lion's mouth a couple of legs or a piece of an ear, So will the sons of Israel dwelling in Samaria be snatched away-- With the corner of a bed and the cover of a couch!12Thus saith the LORD; As the shepherd taketh out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear; so shall the children of Israel be taken out that dwell in Samaria in the corner of a bed, and in Damascus in a couch.12The LORD says: As the shepherd snatches two legs or a piece of an ear from the lion's mouth, so the Israelites who live in Samaria will be rescued with only the corner of a bed or the cushion of a couch.
"Hear this and testify against the descendants of Jacob," declares the Lord, the LORD God Almighty.13“Hear, and testify against the house of Jacob,” declares the Lord GOD, the God of hosts,13"Hear and testify against the house of Jacob," Declares the Lord GOD, the God of hosts.13Hear ye, and testify in the house of Jacob, saith the Lord GOD, the God of hosts,13Listen and testify against the house of Jacob-- this is the declaration of the Lord GOD, the God of Hosts.
"On the day I punish Israel for her sins, I will destroy the altars of Bethel; the horns of the altar will be cut off and fall to the ground.14“that on the day I punish Israel for his transgressions, I will punish the altars of Bethel, and the horns of the altar shall be cut off and fall to the ground.14"For on the day that I punish Israel's transgressions, I will also punish the altars of Bethel; The horns of the altar will be cut off And they will fall to the ground.14That in the day that I shall visit the transgressions of Israel upon him I will also visit the altars of Bethel: and the horns of the altar shall be cut off, and fall to the ground.14I will punish the altars of Bethel on the day I punish Israel for its crimes; the horns of the altar will be cut off and fall to the ground.
I will tear down the winter house along with the summer house; the houses adorned with ivory will be destroyed and the mansions will be demolished," declares the LORD.15I will strike the winter house along with the summer house, and the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall come to an end,” declares the LORD.15"I will also smite the winter house together with the summer house; The houses of ivory will also perish And the great houses will come to an end," Declares the LORD.15And I will smite the winter house with the summer house; and the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall have an end, saith the LORD.15I will demolish the winter house and the summer house; the houses inlaid with ivory will be destroyed, and the great houses will come to an end. This is the LORD's declaration.
