The Uncleanness of Men

(Deuteronomy 23:9-14)

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
1The LORD said to Moses and Aaron,1The LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,1The LORD also spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,1And the LORD spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying,1The LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron: "
2"Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'When any man has an unusual bodily discharge, such a discharge is unclean.2“Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When any man has a discharge from his body, his discharge is unclean.2"Speak to the sons of Israel, and say to them, 'When any man has a discharge from his body, his discharge is unclean.2Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When any man hath a running issue out of his flesh, because of his issue he is unclean.2Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When any man has a discharge from his body, he is unclean.
3Whether it continues flowing from his body or is blocked, it will make him unclean. This is how his discharge will bring about uncleanness:3And this is the law of his uncleanness for a discharge: whether his body runs with his discharge, or his body is blocked up by his discharge, it is his uncleanness.3'This, moreover, shall be his uncleanness in his discharge: it is his uncleanness whether his body allows its discharge to flow or whether his body obstructs its discharge.3And this shall be his uncleanness in his issue: whether his flesh run with his issue, or his flesh be stopped from his issue, it is his uncleanness.3This is uncleanness of his discharge: Whether his body secretes the discharge or retains it, he is unclean. All the days that his body secretes or retains anything because of his discharge, he is unclean.
4"'Any bed the man with a discharge lies on will be unclean, and anything he sits on will be unclean.4Every bed on which the one with the discharge lies shall be unclean, and everything on which he sits shall be unclean.4'Every bed on which the person with the discharge lies becomes unclean, and everything on which he sits becomes unclean.4Every bed, whereon he lieth that hath the issue, is unclean: and every thing, whereon he sitteth, shall be unclean.4Any bed the man with the discharge lies on will be unclean, and any furniture he sits on will be unclean.
NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB

8"'If the man with the discharge spits on anyone who is clean, they must wash their clothes and bathe with water, and they will be unclean till evening.8And if the one with the discharge spits on someone who is clean, then he shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water and be unclean until the evening.8'Or if the man with the discharge spits on one who is clean, he too shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until evening.8And if he that hath the issue spit upon him that is clean; then he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.8If the man with the discharge spits on anyone who is clean, he is to wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening.

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB

And whoever carries such things shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water and be unclean until the evening.10'Whoever then touches any of the things which were under him shall be unclean until evening, and he who carries them shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until evening.10And whosoever toucheth any thing that was under him shall be unclean until the even: and he that beareth any of those things shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.10Whoever touches anything that was under him will be unclean until evening, and whoever carries such things is to wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening.

12"'A clay pot that the man touches must be broken, and any wooden article is to be rinsed with water.12And an earthenware vessel that the one with the discharge touches shall be broken, and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water.12'However, an earthenware vessel which the person with the discharge touches shall be broken, and every wooden vessel shall be rinsed in water.12And the vessel of earth, that he toucheth which hath the issue, shall be broken: and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water.12Any clay pot that the man with the discharge touches must be broken, while any wooden utensil must be rinsed with water."

The Cleansing of Men

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
13"'When a man is cleansed from his discharge, he is to count off seven days for his ceremonial cleansing; he must wash his clothes and bathe himself with fresh water, and he will be clean.13“And when the one with a discharge is cleansed of his discharge, then he shall count for himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes. And he shall bathe his body in fresh water and shall be clean.13'Now when the man with the discharge becomes cleansed from his discharge, then he shall count off for himself seven days for his cleansing; he shall then wash his clothes and bathe his body in running water and will become clean.13And when he that hath an issue is cleansed of his issue; then he shall number to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean.13When the man with the discharge has been cured of it, he is to count seven days for his cleansing, wash his clothes, and bathe his body in fresh water; he will be clean.

15The priest is to sacrifice them, the one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering. In this way he will make atonement before the LORD for the man because of his discharge.15And the priest shall use them, one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering. And the priest shall make atonement for him before the LORD for his discharge.15and the priest shall offer them, one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering. So the priest shall make atonement on his behalf before the LORD because of his discharge.15And the priest shall offer them, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD for his issue.15The priest is to sacrifice them, one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering.
