He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.2He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.2He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, And He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm.2He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.2He brought me up from a desolate pit, out of the muddy clay, and set my feet on a rock, making my steps secure.
He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the LORD and put their trust in him.3He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the LORD.3He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; Many will see and fear And will trust in the LORD.3And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.3He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD.
Blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods.4Blessed is the man who makes the LORD his trust, who does not turn to the proud, to those who go astray after a lie!4How blessed is the man who has made the LORD his trust, And has not turned to the proud, nor to those who lapse into falsehood.4Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.4How happy is the man who has put his trust in the LORD and has not turned to the proud or to those who run after lies!

Many, LORD my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare.5You have multiplied, O LORD my God, your wondrous deeds and your thoughts toward us; none can compare with you! I will proclaim and tell of them, yet they are more than can be told.5Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders which You have done, And Your thoughts toward us; There is none to compare with You. If I would declare and speak of them, They would be too numerous to count.5Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.5 LORD my God, You have done many things-- Your wonderful works and Your plans for us; none can compare with You. If I were to report and speak of them, they are more than can be told.
Sacrifice and offering you did not desire-- but my ears you have opened -- burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not require.6In sacrifice and offering you have not delighted, but you have given me an open ear. Burnt offering and sin offering you have not required.6Sacrifice and meal offering You have not desired; My ears You have opened; Burnt offering and sin offering You have not required.6Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.6You do not delight in sacrifice and offering; You open my ears to listen. You do not ask for a whole burnt offering or a sin offering.
Then I said, "Here I am, I have come-- it is written about me in the scroll.7Then I said, “Behold, I have come; in the scroll of the book it is written of me:7Then I said, "Behold, I come; In the scroll of the book it is written of me.7Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,7Then I said, "See, I have come; it is written about me in the volume of the scroll.
I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart."8I delight to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.”8I delight to do Your will, O my God; Your Law is within my heart."8I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.8I delight to do Your will, my God; Your instruction lives within me."
I proclaim your saving acts in the great assembly; I do not seal my lips, LORD, as you know.9I have told the glad news of deliverance in the great congregation; behold, I have not restrained my lips, as you know, O LORD.9I have proclaimed glad tidings of righteousness in the great congregation; Behold, I will not restrain my lips, O LORD, You know.9I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, thou knowest.9I proclaim righteousness in the great assembly; see, I do not keep my mouth closed-- as You know, LORD.

I do not hide your righteousness in my heart; I speak of your faithfulness and your saving help. I do not conceal your love and your faithfulness from the great assembly.10I have not hidden your deliverance within my heart; I have spoken of your faithfulness and your salvation; I have not concealed your steadfast love and your faithfulness from the great congregation.10I have not hidden Your righteousness within my heart; I have spoken of Your faithfulness and Your salvation; I have not concealed Your lovingkindness and Your truth from the great congregation.10I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.10I did not hide Your righteousness in my heart; I spoke about Your faithfulness and salvation; I did not conceal Your constant love and truth from the great assembly.
Do not withhold your mercy from me, LORD; may your love and faithfulness always protect me.11As for you, O LORD, you will not restrain your mercy from me; your steadfast love and your faithfulness will ever preserve me!11You, O LORD, will not withhold Your compassion from me; Your lovingkindness and Your truth will continually preserve me.11Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.11 LORD, do not withhold Your compassion from me; Your constant love and truth will always guard me.
For troubles without number surround me; my sins have overtaken me, and I cannot see. They are more than the hairs of my head, and my heart fails within me.12For evils have encompassed me beyond number; my iniquities have overtaken me, and I cannot see; they are more than the hairs of my head; my heart fails me.12For evils beyond number have surrounded me; My iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to see; They are more numerous than the hairs of my head, And my heart has failed me.12For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.12For troubles without number have surrounded me; my sins have overtaken me; I am unable to see. They are more than the hairs of my head, and my courage leaves me.
Be pleased to save me, LORD; come quickly, LORD, to help me.13Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me! O LORD, make haste to help me!13Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me; Make haste, O LORD, to help me.13Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me: O LORD, make haste to help me.13 LORD, be pleased to deliver me; hurry to help me, LORD.
May all who want to take my life be put to shame and confusion; may all who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace.14Let those be put to shame and disappointed altogether who seek to snatch away my life; let those be turned back and brought to dishonor who delight in my hurt!14Let those be ashamed and humiliated together Who seek my life to destroy it; Let those be turned back and dishonored Who delight in my hurt.14Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil.14Let those who seek to take my life be disgraced and confounded. Let those who wish me harm be driven back and humiliated.

Aha!" be appalled at their own shame.15Let those be appalled because of their shame who say to me, “Aha, Aha!”15Let those be appalled because of their shame Who say to me, "Aha, aha!"15Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.15Let those who say to me, "Aha, aha!" be horrified because of their shame.
But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who long for your saving help always say, "The LORD is great!"16But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation say continually, “Great is the LORD!”16Let all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; Let those who love Your salvation say continually, "The LORD be magnified!"16Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.16Let all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; let those who love Your salvation continually say," The LORD is great!"
But as for me, I am poor and needy; may the Lord think of me. You are my help and my deliverer; you are my God, do not delay.17As for me, I am poor and needy, but the Lord takes thought for me. You are my help and my deliverer; do not delay, O my God!17Since I am afflicted and needy, Let the Lord be mindful of me. You are my help and my deliverer; Do not delay, O my God.17But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.17I am afflicted and needy; the Lord thinks of me. You are my helper and my deliverer; my God, do not delay.
